Cecil W. Clark, 83, of Laurie Lane, Washington, died at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 2000, in Washington Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born February 11, 1917, in Claysville, a son of Asa B. and Lydia F. Yoder Clark.
Mr. Clark was Protestant.
He was employed as a steelworker for Jessop Steel for more than 30 years, retiring in 1981.
Mr. Clark was a member of the Jessop Club and enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.
On August 7, 1935, he married Mary F. Mosier, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, David R. Clark of Salem, Ohio; a daughter, Janette M. Wysel of North Lima, Ohio; two sisters, Jessie Hilberry of Bridgeport, Ohio, and Mardelle Kraft of McMechen, W.Va.; eight grandchildren, Mary and Greg Clark, Christine Burley, Carol Harris, Juanita Osner, Tammy Smith, Billy Catlett Jr. and Elizabeth Terrill; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a son, Fred Clark; three brothers, Warren, John and Thomas Clark; and two sisters, Nellie Clark and Pearl Clark.
