Andrew R. Orlosky, 86, of Carmichaels, died Saturday, July 15, 2000, in Brownsville General Hospital.
He was born February 9, 1914, in Oliver, a son of Andrew Martin and Catherine Janecko Orlosky.
Mr. Orlosky had worked for 46 years as a coal miner at Nemacolin Mine.
He was a member of St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church in Carmichaels, UMWA Local 6290 and Jednota Lodge.
Surviving are two sons, Robert Orlosky of Fairfax Station, Va., and William Orlosky of Aberdeen, Md.; one stepson, John Helmick of Payson, Ariz.; two stepdaughters, Peggy Dick of Lititz and Jackie Shoemaker of Trenton, Mich.; one brother, Edward Orlosky of Euclid, Ohio; three sisters, Mary Ringer and Helen Kormanik, both of Nemacolin, and Marguerite Urbany of Washington; two grandsons, Robert and Greg Orlosky; and 10 stepgrandchildren.
Deceased are his first wife, Helen G. Orlosky, who died in 1960; his second wife, Kathalea Orlosky, who died May 3, 2000; and three brothers, George, Mike and Frank Orlosky.
