Twila L. Dawson Reynier, 69, of 530 Tanneyhill Street, Canonsburg, formerly of Eighty Four, died Sunday, July 16, 2000, in McMurray Hills Manor Home from complications following a cerebral hemorrhage.
She was born October 3, 1930, in Mt. Pleasant Township, a daughter of Joseph and Stella Bowland Dawson.
Mrs. Reynier graduated from Hickory High School in 1948. She had been employed by Washington County Health Center as a licensed practical nurse from 1982 until her retirement in 1992. Previously, she was employed at Mayview State Hospital as a psychiatric aide from 1960 until 1981.
She was a member of Christian Bible Fellowship in Canonsburg.
On August 26, 1952, she married Eugene A. Reynier, who died September 1, 1986.
Surviving are three daughters, Marie "Cookie" DeMarco of Glenmoore, Eugenia Nestor of Canonsburg and Jacqueline Hanus of Eighty Four; a son, Charles Reynier of Washington; three brothers, Joseph Dawson of Imperial, Richard Dawson of Houston and Frank Dawson of Hendersonville; three sisters, Catherine Nesic of Meadow Lands, and Sarah Kosharsky and Bertha Smith, both of Houston; six grandchildren, Valerie DeMarco, Nicole Kraf Vanderlee, Micah Kraf, Jenee Reynier, and Zachary and Jake Hanus; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two sisters, Martha Cornell, who died in December 1998, and Stella Dawson, who died in infancy.
