She was born January 25, 1926, in Wana, a daughter of Charles and Eva Florence Keener Anderson. Mrs. Simpson was a member of Wana United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. Surviving are her husband, Luther ³Dickie² Simpson; four daughters, Janice Phillips of Westover, W.Va., Joyce Williams of Daybrook, W.Va., Drema Frazier of Waynesburg and Donna Simpson of Moundsville, W.Va.; two brothers, Robert Anderson and Byron Anderson, both of Paden City, W.Va.; a sister, Ruth Kovachik of Colorado; five grandchildren, David Wilson, Sam Wilson, Daphne Mauzy, Jamie Williams and Benton Frazier; and two great-grandchildren. Deceased are three brothers, Paul, Fred and Gerald Anderson; and two sisters, Kathleen Nestic and Louise Anderson, who died at birth. Glenda Simpson, 74, of Wana, W.Va., died Tuesday, May 23, 2000, in her home.
