Elsie Jane Zappi, 64, of Avella R.D.1, died Friday, October 27, 2000, in Washington Hospital.
She was born March 24, 1936, in Washington, a daughter of the late Massie and Elsie Wolford Bryant. Her adoptive parents, Tom and Alice Pizer, also are deceased.
Mrs. Zappi was Presbyterian.
She was a graduate of Avella High School and was employed by Hazel Atlas Glass Plant 2 and Interstate Foodland.
Mrs. Zappi enjoyed crocheting and gardening.
Her husband, August Zappi Jr., died in January 1997.
Surviving are two brothers, Gilbert Bryant of Cleveland, Ohio, and Duane Pizer of Wellsburg, W.Va.; a sister, Thelma Bryant of St. Louis, Mo.; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are four sisters, Florence Bryant, Jean Shalvis, Violet Butcher and Isabelle Rohr; and a brother, Junior Bryant.
