Linda Francesca DeRose of Donnan Avenue, Washington, died at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2001, in Humbert Lane Health Care Center, Washington.
She was born in Italy, a daughter of Lorenzo and Maria Costabile DeRose.
Miss DeRose had been a resident of Washington since 1916.
She was a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Church, a member of Divina Madrea Lodge 1701, Catholic Daughters of America Court 1651, Confraternity of Christian Mothers, Alpine Lodge, Covenant Club and Washington Hospital Women's Auxiliary.
Miss DeRose had been employed by Maytag until its local store's closing, and Dillie Motor Freight Inc., retiring in 1978.
She was a graduate of Washington High School and Washington Business College.
Surviving are a cousin, George Laneve of Newell, W.Va.; and three cousins in Italy.
Deceased is a brother, Samuel DeRose, who died June 1951.
