Freda H. Ziegler, 82, of McDonald, died Sunday, December 31, 2000, in Horizon Senior Care, Canonsburg.
She was born May 5, 1918, in Hickory, a daughter of Harry and Bena Miller Walker.
Mrs. Ziegler was a 1937 graduate of Hickory High School.
She worked as a licensed practical nurse for 21 years in John J. Kane Hospital, Scott Township, before retiring in 1980.
Mrs. Ziegler was a member of Independent Bible Presbyterian Church in McDonald.
On June 20, 1945, she married Ralph Ziegler, who died April 14, 2000.
Surviving are a son, Donald J. Ziegler of Bridgeville; a daughter, Barbara Iagnemma of Bridgeville; five brothers, Wilbert Walker of McDonald, William Walker of New Lexington, Ohio, Ray Walker of St. Petersburg, Fla., Jay Walker of Hickory and Fred Walker of Cross Creek; a sister, Willa Dowler of Midway; two grandchildren, James Iagnemma and Ami Elo; and a great-grandchild.
Deceased are a brother, Lee Walker; and a grandson, Joseph Iagnemma.
