Alfred L. Jones, 77, of Mt. Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2001, in Second Family Care Home, Uniontown.
He was born July 23, 1923, in Greene County, a son of Harry Alfred and Ada Jones.
Mr. Jones worked as a laborer and handyman.
He was affiliated with the Nazarene faith.
Mr. Jones was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army.
Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Tennant of Waynesburg and Ada Willard of Washington; three sons, David Jones and Harry Jones, both of Pittsburgh, and Robert Jones of Virginia; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Jones was the last of his immediate family.
Deceased are a sister and four brothers.
