Kathryn L. "Babe" Jorgenson, 68, of Washington, died Thursday, January 4, 2001, in Washington Hospital, following a four-year illness.
She was born April 30, 1932, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Domineck and Mary Lamantia Fenimore.
Mrs. Jorgenson was a retired payroll clerk, having worked for Jessop Steel Corp. for more than 32 years.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, where she had taught RISA classes.
Mrs. Jorgenson had founded and chaired the Children's Hospital Fund Drive for many years at Jessop Steel Co.
She was a graduate of Canonsburg High School.
On July 26, 1969, she married Bayard Kempton "Roger" Jorgenson, who died June 23, 1997.
Surviving are a son, Brian P. Jorgenson of Nashville, Tenn.; two brothers, Pete Fenimore of Washington and Leonard Fenimore of Johnstown; and two sisters, Antoinette "Toni" DaPra of Canonsburg and Cynthia Zelinsky of Eighty Four.
Deceased is a sister, Dolly DiDominico.
