Mary E. Hoberek Roman, 77, of Imperial, died Thursday, January 4, 2001, in Canonsburg General Hospital.
She was born June 2, 1923, in Follansbee, W.Va., a daughter of Nathaniel and Mary Dunn Hoberek.
Mrs. Roman was a retired nurse from John J. Kane Hospital and Drew Nursing Home, both in the Bridgeville area.
She also was a member of the St. Columbkille Roman Catholic Church of Imperial.
Surviving are her husband, John Roman; a son, John Roman of Imperial; two daughters, Carol Roman of Union City and Mary Elizabeth Clingenpeel of Imperial; five brothers, John Hoberek of Aliquippa, Bill Hoberek of McDonald, Bob Hoberek of Michigan, Harry Hoberek of Ohio and David Hoberek of Joffre; five sisters, Viola Anderson of Ohio, Edna Kline of Follansbee, W.Va., Margaret Reed of Hookstown, Stella Lyons of Burgettstown and Jean Hoberek of Canonsburg; four grandchildren, Doreen, Jerry, Marybeth and David; and six great-grandchildren.
Three brothers are deceased.
