John A. Holsey, 80, of Strabane, died at 11:40 a.m. Friday, January 5, 2001, in Canonsburg General Hospital.
He was born February 4, 1920, in Pittsburgh, a son of Walter and Nellie Holsey.
Mr. Holsey was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Canonsburg, and KSKJ St. Jerome's Lodge 153 of Strabane.
Before retirement, he was a caster at Canonsburg Pottery for more than 18 years.
On September 25, 1954, he married June Frantz, who survives.
Also surviving are two brothers, Joseph Holsey of Peters Township and Edward Kubacki of Canonsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a brother, Stanley Holsey; and two sisters, Ann Senay and Genevieve Conway.
