Joann Josephine Shulek Marolt, 53, of Smithfield R.D.2, died Friday, January 5, 2001, in Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
She was born April 14, 1947, in New Geneva, a daughter of Agnes Demaske Shulek of Woodside and the late John Shulek.
Mrs. Marolt was a 1965 graduate of Albert Gallatin High School.
Surviving are her husband of 35 years, Frank Marolt Jr.; a son, Frank D. Marolt of Smithfield; a daughter, Shelley J. Hall of Martinsville, W.Va.; two sisters, Mary Shulek of Woodside and Betty Fike of California state; and four brothers, John Shulek of the state of California, Robert "Smiley" and James Shulek, both of Woodside, and Richard Shulek of Masontown.
