Andy Suwak, 83, of Hickory, died Thursday, January 4, 2001, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born January 29, 1917, in Washington, a son of Michael and Mary Kernasevics Suwak.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Suwak owned and was a driver for Andy Suwak Trucking Co.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving with the 25th Bombardier Squadron.
Mr. Suwak was a member of St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church in Bulger.
Surviving are his wife, Robert Rometti Suwak, a daughter, Pamela Marie Perenic of Atlanta, Ga.; three brothers, John Suwak of Florida and Nick and Chuck Suwak, both of Washington; and a sister, Helen Artemko of Washington.
Deceased are his first wife, Mary Ann Machak; two brothers, Mike and Pete Suwak; and a sister, Mary Suwak.
