Alberta E. Ventresca, 83, of Port Allegany, died Wednesday, January 3, 2001, in Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, after a lengthy illness.
Born January 27, 1917, in Muse, she was the daughter of Job and Mary Nonclerg Cox. On December 31, 1934, she married Arthur J. Ventresca, who died March 14, 1977.
Mrs. Ventresca was a resident of Cecil for 73 years and lived the remainder of her life in Port Allegany. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Cecil.
Surviving are two sons, Wayne M. Ventresca of Port Allegany and Richard A. Ventresca of Sarasota, Fla.; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Arnold Cox of Lake Wales, Fla.; and two nieces.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother.
A memorial service was held Friday, January 5, at First Presbyterian Church, Port Allegany.
