Eleanor Caldwell Lee, 92, of Cross Creek, died Friday, January 5, 2001, in San Angelo, Texas.
She was born March 6, 1908, in McDonald, a daughter of Robert S. and Jennie Timmons Caldwell.
Mrs. Lee was a school teacher in Avella School District for a number of years. She was a member of Cross Creek Presbyterian Church since 1929, where she served as clerk of session and held various offices in ladies' aid and missionary societies.
On October 19, 1929, she married J. Leroy Lee, who died November 25, 1968.
Surviving are a son, Richard Caldwell Lee of San Angelo; a grandson, Richard S. Lee; two granddaughters, Becky Wilson and Nancy Hannifin; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons; and numerous nieces and nephews.
