Angelo Adams, 71, of West Newton, died Sunday, January 7, 2001, in the home of his daughter, Nancy Rostcheek.
He was born January 4, 1930, in Clairton, a son of Vincenzo and Jennie Sberna Adamo.
Mr. Adams was a retired engineer for Ingram Barge Co. and attended Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in West Newton. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, was a member of American Legion Post 401 of West Newton and a U.S. Merchant Marine Officer.
Surviving are five children, Tom Adams of Shreveport, La., Nancy Rostcheek of Monongahela, Jim Adams of Smithton, Dan Adams of Avis and Lisa Adams of Virginia; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mildred Humphries of West Mifflin, Eleanor Minford of Clairton, Gloria DiBella of Detroit, Mich.
Deceased are his wife, Marie N. Tortorice Adams, who died in 1995; and a brother, Harry Adams.
