Alice M. Capra, 84, of McDonald, died Saturday, January 6, 2001, in Washington County Health Center, Washington.
She was born February 17, 1916, in McDonald, a daughter of George Ira and Anna Kozeswik Martinek.
Mrs. Capra was a member of St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church of McDonald, McDonald Senior Citizens and McDonald Garden Club and the chairman for the Democratic Committee for Washington County,
Surviving are a son, James A. Capra of McDonald; a sister, Emily Carlier of Ohio; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her husband, James V. Capra, who died in 1973; two sisters, Anita May Turk and Mary Smith; and a brother, William Martinek.
Funeral services are private and are being handled by Thomas-Little Funeral Service Inc. of McDonald. In lieu flowers, contributions may be made to St. Alphonsus Building Fund.
