Irene Ruth Knupp, 45, of Eighty Four, formerly of Millville, N.J., died at 8 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2001, in her home after a three-year illness.
She was born March 16, 1955, in Vineland, N.J., a daughter of Marie Schulz of New Jersey and the late Max Schulz.
Mrs. Knupp was Methodist and a homemaker. She enjoyed the outdoors and camping.
For the last six years, she was employed by the Observer-Reporter newspaper in Washington and had a newspaper route.
On September 10, 1983, she married Galen Knupp Jr., who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Rhoda Schulz of Eighty Four; a son, Michael Ditko; three brothers, George Schulz of Philadelphia, Bobby Schulz of Vineland and Paul Schulz of Millville; and four sisters, Ann Campbell and Bonnie Schulz, both of Vineland, Barbara Cole of Millville and Rose Pierce of North Fort Myers, Fla.
Deceased are two sisters, Mary Bishop and Edith Blomberg.
Services were private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd.
