Belva M. Johnson

Belva M. Floyd Johnson, 91, of Spraggs, died Monday, June 18, 2001, in Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg.

She was born January 16, 1910, in Hagans, W.Va., a daughter of Jobe and Etta Metheny Floyd.

Mrs. Johnson was a member of Blacksville Baptist Church in West Virginia.

She was married to Charles Johnson, who died September 23, 1973.

Surviving are two daughters, Pauline Davis of Spraggs and Ruth Filby of Claysville; seven grandchildren, Dolly Tuttle, Bill Davis, Ann Willard, June Spitznogle, Ruth Sprowl, Jean Tuttle and Charles Filby; 15 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a grandson, Roger Filby; two brothers; and four sisters.
