Charlotte G. Smith McBride, 67, of Dover, died at 5:36 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2001, in York Hospital.

She was born July 27, 1933, in Waynesboro, a daughter of Melvin L. and Lupha Inez Fritz Smith.

Mrs. McBride retired from Wendy's in 1996 after seven years of service.

She was a member of Shiloh United Church of Christ, where she was a former choir member and was a member of American Association of Retired Persons, Local 3875.

Surviving are a son, Daniel L. McBride of Dover; a brother, Robert Smith of Waynesboro; two sisters, Thelma McCloud of Port Richie, Fla., and June Smith of Waynesboro; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased is her husband, Lester T. McBride, who died August 14, 1988.
