24 May 1999 - Announced the Thompson-Kelley family reunion.

8 May 1999 - Announced the RICHMOND and the MILLIKIN family reunions. Added a new web page link.

7 May 1999 - Announced the McCAY-SHIELDS-VANDERGRAFT family reunion.

1 May 1999 - Announced the HEIDELMEIRE family reunion. Added new article. Fixed some ambiguous links in the site map.

18 April 1999 - Last week we added a site map that several folks had been asking for. Also, be sure to check the bulletins for latest news. It was pointed out that the Observer-Reporter obits for 1999 couldn't be searched with our search engine; that has been fixed. The dates for the McKnight and the McMillan family reunions have been set. A few new web page links have been added. Also, you might scan the voluntary lookups page to check for some additions. Added the "V's" back to the Samuel MacMillan transcription from where they had mysteriously disappeared!

17 March 1999 - Added five personal web page links.

14 March 1999 - Fixed a problem with the Observer-Reporter obituary archive where some individual pages in March 1999 were strange. Also, added three new personal web page links. Added links to the Library of Congress' "American Memory" map collection, which includes maps of many Washington Co. cities. Added a link to the Washington Co. Vietnam Memorial web page.

19 February 1999 - Added two new personal web page links and a new lookups volunteer. Also added a new page dedicated to immigration.

6 February 1999 - Fixed the search facility so that now it doesn't display warning messages about "junk pointers". Thanks to Clair "Bill" Thompson, the 1790 census lists are back on line at his site.

4 February 1999 - The webmaster is back. I started a new job this week and I moved my mother to a new location. So, what's new? I added two new personal web page links. Also, be aware fof the upcoming McKnight Family Reunion.

14 January 1999 - We've added some excellent new maps from the US Geological Survey.
